A prequel/spin-off to the 2012 film Snow White and the Huntsman starring Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Chris Hemsworth and Sam Claflin. The film is based on the characters from the German fairy tale “Snow White” compiled by the Brothers Grimm. The script is written by Frank Darabont, David Koepp, Craig Mazin and Evan Spiliotopoulos.
The Huntsman stars Chris Hemsworth as the titular role with Charlize Theron reprising her role as Queen Ravenna. Joining the two are Emily Blunt(Edge of Tomorrow), Jessica Chastain (Interstellar), Sam Claflin (The Hunger Games) and Nick Frost (Shaun of the Dead).
On the photos, you can see Charlize Theron in a medieval dress along with Emily Blunt on the set of The Huntsman. The film is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for his work on Snow White and the Huntsman.
The Huntsman is slated to open on April 2016 to be distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
