HOW TO STEAL A DOG (2014) Review
A sweet and charming indirect fairy tale. How To Steal A Dog centers its story on a young and hopeful girl that captures the hearts of the audiences with her optimism and wit to face life’s struggles. Dealing with school and family, the film through the cast, tackles it with optimism and courage. It is the story we love growing up with, the ones that teaches us about life but also entertains us.
Though the film is Korean, it is actually based on a novel of the same name by Barbara O’Connor from the United States of America. As the film’s message is universal, Korean or American or Filipino, the film will inspire and touch the hearts of its audience through a simple but courageous young girl who just wants to have a birthday celebration.
