Rose Byrne is known for her role as Renai Lambert in the supernatural horror-thriller Insidious and Insidious Chapter 2. She also starred in comedy films such as Neighbors, Spy and Bridesmaids. She is one of Hollywood’s underrated versatile actress that can also do drama but this year, she returns as Moira MacTaggert in Fox’s superhero universe movie, “X-Men: Apocalypse.”
You may recall that at the end of First Class, Charles has Moira’s memory wiped so that she can return to her job at the FBI. Now, 20 years on, they cross paths again, and miraculously she still looks the same age.
Fox just released a clip from the movie which discusses the origins of En Sabah Nur or Apocalypse. Watch the clip titled “Moira’s Office”
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto, to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven with the help of Professor X must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.
“X-Men: Apocalypse” opens in Philippine cinemas May 18, 2016 in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D.
