Durotan, The Rebel in ‘Warcraft: The Beginning’

Epic fantasy film Warcraft: The Beginning based on the video game and novel of the same name gets its noble orc chieftain of the exiled Frostwolf Clan a TV Spot centering his battle to save his people and his family from the vengeful Shadow Council and the destruction of their world.

Durotan is played or rather voiced by Toby Kebbell who played Victor Von Doom aka Doctor Doom in Fox’s Fantastic Four reboot. And though that was a huge flop, his acting career isn’t stopping there. Bagging the role for probably the biggest video game movie adaptation ever is a huge recognition of his talents.

The film is directed by no other than Duncan Jones, who directed the critically-acclaimed films Moon (2009) and Source Code (2011). It’s a dash of hope that the film adaptation will be decent enough to entertain and won’t disappoint for it to grow as a franchise.

Legendary Pictures’ WARCRAFT, a 3D epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based upon Blizzard Entertainment’s globally-renowned universe, is directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and is written by Charles Leavitt and rewritten by Duncan Jones. The producers are Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni and Alex Gartner. Stuart Fenegan, Jillian Share and Brent O’Connor serve as executive producers. Blizzard’s Chris Metzen co-produces.
