Select Cinemalaya 2016 Entries Gets Extended Screenings at Ayala Malls Cinemas

Due to insistent public demand, select Cinemalaya 2016 entries is now having limited screenings at Glorietta 4, TriNoma Mall and Fairview Terraces from August 19 to 23.

Full length entries: Ang Bagong Pamilya ni Ponching which bagged one of the two best supporting award for Miss Lollie Mara, Dagsin which bagged the best actor award for Tommy Abuel, Hiblang Abo which won the best supporting actor(s) for its ensemble Lou Veloso, Jun Urbano, Leo Rialp and Nanding Josef, Lando at Bugoy starring Allen Dizon, Mercury is Mine which won the best screenplay and special jury prize awards and Tuos which won best cinematography, best musical score, best sound and audience choice award.

Shorts A composed of Ang Maangas, Ang Marikit at ang Makata, Butas, Forever Natin Get Certified and Fish Out of Water and Shorts B composed of Ang Hapon ni Nanding, Bugtawm Mansyong Papel, Nakauwi Na and Pektus will also have screenings.

Pamilya Ordinaryo, I America and Kusina on the other hand, are not part of the extended screenings as they (might) have their own commercial screenings soon. Eduardo Roy, Jr.’s Pamilya Ordinaryo have been confirmed to have on starting August 31, to be released with an R-16 rating.
