Known as the sweet and charming Nikki in the hit daytime series Be Careful With My Heart, from there Janella Salvador, 19, is making buzz with every project she makes.

But what made her shine even more are her big screen projects. From Haunted Mansion in 2015, inwhich she won New Female Artist of the Year at the 32nd PMPC Star Awards for Movies, her first break on the big screen was given by none other than Regal Entertainment, Inc. by Mother Lily and Roselle Monteverde.

The following year, Janella starred in another film project produced by Regal Entertainment, Inc. titled Mano Po: Chinoy.

September 12, 2017, Janella Salvador renews her contract with Regal Entertainment, Inc. Not including her upcoming project with Elmo Magalona, “My Fairy Tail Love Story.”

What’s included in her contract renewal is a project with director Jason Paul Laxamana (Love is Blind, Pwera Usog) titled So Connected, her love team? Yet to be disclosed. Producer Roselle Monteverde says they’re still finding the right partner for Janella, and will be doing auditions soon.

While the contract signing, Salvador gave us updates on her filming of My Fairy Tail Love Story. She plays Chantel, an irritatingly finicky young woman who’s about to be cursed to have…. fins! She plays a mermaid in the film directed by Perci Intalan and paired with Elmo Magalona.

She describes the film as a Filipino Disney Princess movie. A fun fantasy film that would be enjoyed by the whole family.

My Fairy Tail Love Story is to be submitted for consideration for the Metro Manila Film Festival 2017.
