Sarah Geronimo to Star in the Filipino Remake of Hit Korean Film “Miss Granny”

The hit South Korean comedy-drama movie Miss Granny is getting a Filipino version, and who to star as the foul-mouthed, stubborn, controlling and shameless 74 year old who got the chance to be 20 again? None other than the Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo.

This was reported last June 3, 2017 by entertainment editor Salve Asis on her column for Pilipino Star Ngayon. Confirmed directly by VIVA Corporation’s Vic del Rosario.

Miss Granny is a 2014 South Korean comedy drama movie about a 74-year-old widow realizes she is becoming a burden on her family. She mysteriously regains her physical appearance from the age of 20.

The film was already adapted in Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Japanese and in the future, an American remake.

No release dates have been announced yet.
