AVENGERS: ENDGAME (2019) Review

I’m not sure I was prepared for all of this. Ever since Iron Man was released, my love for cinema grew. I know, Marvel Studios may not offer awe-inspiring, edgy, or other adjectives to describe award-winning films, but there’s joy inside me every time I watch them.
So after 21 films, the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s Infinity Saga comes to an end.
There have been so little we know of before entering the cinema, though some of the theories have been correct, Avengers: Endgame can still pull off surprises on their biggest, most ambitious and emotional film to date.
The film offers a lot for its audience. It starts slow, but you kind of feel that the conversations, the stops the story is going, they’re all worth it. The film pays homage to all of its core characters building a story that’s exciting and emotional all at the same time.
Directors Anthony and Joe Russo have perfected telling multi-protagonists stories that Avengers: Endgame is easily digested. You get more than what you expected. It’s a deeply satisfying grand superhero movie that is a fan-service but at the same time, it didn’t sacrifice the quality of its story and how it was delivered.
I cried at least twice watching the movie. That even though the film is overwhelmingly great, you’re in that position wherein you don’t want it to end. I’m in awe watching all these characters in one screen and in that big moment, I was crying happily, surprised that I’m experiencing or was seeing something only dreams can produce years ago. This is it. This is that dream come true and it didn’t disappoint.
This franchise has influenced me in more ways I could imagine. Yes, I’m a huge fan and this review also serves as a thank you to the people behind every Marvel film.
