Mafias, locked and loaded.
Only a few days left until the premiere of Viva One’s newest action-romance series, ‘My Husband is A Mafia Boss.’
In the world of high-stakes crime and cinematic romance, chemistry is the ultimate weapon—and for Joseph Marco, his latest role in My Husband is A Mafia Boss has found its perfect match.
While the series promises grit, danger, and intrigue, the real heart of the production lies in the “genuine” bond between its leads. Joseph isn’t holding back his admiration for co-star Rhen Escaño, crediting their “healthy” and “safe” partnership as the secret ingredient to navigating the show’s most challenging scenes.
“Working with Rhen, it’s such a treat. Sobrang enjoy ko maka-trabaho si Rhen. I guess ito ata ang pinaka-genuine na team up na nagawa ko and I am so blessed to have her as my leading lady for the Mafia Boss, kasi I don’t think I would be able to do the things that I do here kung hindi siya ‘yung kapartner ko. That’s why I’m so thankful. Very healthy ‘yung relationship namin and everytime we are on taping, I’m always excited to work with her.
What do Joseph and Rhen like and don’t like about each other’s characters?
Siguro ‘yung part lang na hindi ko gusto, talagang tatanga-tanga siya, as in, I cannot stand a person like that. Siyempre, kung meron ka mang magiging girlfriend or gustong pakasalan, you want to be a power couple. Somehow, ‘yung matututo ka din, someone who will uplift you, not to bring you down,” Joseph Marco answers.
“Bakit, hindi ka naman ganun eh?,” Joseph assures as Rhen reacts to his answer.
Catch Joseph Marco as Ezekiel ‘Zeke’ Rosswell and Rhen Escano as Aemie Ferrer-Rosswell in ‘My Husband is A Mafia Boss’ on April 11, exclusively on Viva One.
