It's big, it's stylish, it's over-the-top when it comes to almost everything. It has car chases, gun shooting, sword fighting and even killer dogs. John Wick: Chapter 4 goes all out not just in terms of storytelling but also making John Wick's journey look and feel bigger than his previous ones.
It's still the Shazam! we love. The innocence of a teenage boy in a body of a superhero, the humor, the adventure but with a villain that has more tenacity. And well-realized characters created more impact on the emotional and visual journey of the film.
It's great how Lana makes the conversations in the film like they are transporting the audiences to the situations they are mentioning. It's masterful filmmaking commanding your senses to be attentive to the details, to the characters' emotions and to the possibilities of where the story will go.
The film is a heartwarming, feel-good trip to Korea that everyone deserves. Hong Huifang carried the film with grace and sincerity that you feel like you're empathizing with her character. Showing concern and being entertained at her guts. It's a lovely film that gives so much to its audience.
