CMB Film Services, Inc. partners with Puregold CinePanalo to support Filipino filmmakers with P1 million in equipment grants

CMB Film Services, Inc., a widely recognized provider of cutting-edge lighting and camera equipment in the Philippine film and television industry, has partnered with Puregold CinePanalo in granting PhP 1,000,000 worth of equipment rental to the eight (8) selected film projects for the 2025 iteration of the festival.

Puregold CinePanalo reveals 8 official entries for full-length film category

After an arduous screening process, eight panalo finalists emerged victorious, earning a three million peso (PHP3,000,000.00) production grant and the chance to showcase their masterpieces at the 2025 Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival.

Each of the eight films, together with the 25 student short films, will be screened at the 2025 Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival, which is set to run in Gateway Cinemas from March 14 to 25, 2025.

Puregold CinePanalo celebrates second year with more production grants on the line

The journey to the second year of Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival is finally underway, with its introductory press conference held last July 23 at the Gateway Cineplex 18. A sequel to last year’s historic debut Puregold CinePanalo, this year’s iteration promises to give filmmakers across the country more opportunities to showcase their skill, creativity, and dedication to their craft.

The award-winning directorial debut of Kurt Soberano, “Under a Piaya Moon,” is returning to cinemas with a screening at Power Plant Mall on July 21. However, even fans that already enjoyed the film in its initial run as part of the Puregold CinePanalo Film Festival will want to catch this latest screening as it will feature Kurt Soberano’s director’s cut of the film.

Puregold CinePanalo Returns Bolder Than Ever: 7 Full-Length Films to Receive 3M Grant

For its upcoming 2025 Puregold CinePanalo run, a whopping P3,000,000 full-length film production grant will be given to each of seven deserving professional and amateur directors, while 25 promising student filmmakers will each receive a P150,000 short film production grant.

Applications are now open to those aspiring to join the upcoming festival line-up. The deadline for full-length directors is on July 15, 2024. Meanwhile, student directors in the short film category must submit their applications before August 15, 2024.
