You can feel the dirt, blood and sweat in every scene. From its explosive opening sequence to its finale, Topakk manages to be gripping and heart-pounding. An action-packed crime drama with abundance of thrills and violence, the Arjo Atayde-led film is what action genre fans are looking for.

‘Green Bones’ is moving, thought-provoking, and proves how kindness can change people. ‘My Future You’ Review: Finding the right connection

The film works on familiar themes and formula but it was executed in the sincerest way possible. Sweetness and warmth cover the entirety of the film not just because of the romance angle between the two but also because of each of the characters relationship with their families. Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin are perfect for their roles.

‘The Kingdom’ Review: Well-thought out family and political drama

The Kingdom’ promises a different world but still familiar and they delivered. Performance-wise, there’s no complaints on its cast. What makes the film impressive is that the country they’ve developed, while fictitious, feels authentic to the characters. It doesn’t feel half baked. I wish the mounting felt more cinematic though.
