It’s a super early and super fun Christmas treat for the whole family this November with the upcoming mainstream theatrical release of Star Cinema’s “The Super Parental Guardians” starring the unbeatable mega blockbuster tandem of Vice Ganda and Coco Martin.
Directed by Bb. Joyce Bernal with an original story developed by Coco Martin, Alpha Habon and Vice Ganda, as written for the big screen by Danno Kristoper, C. Mariquit and Alpha Habon, The Super Parental Guardians or TSPG is arguably one of the biggest and most highly anticipated movies that will culminate 2016.
TSPG is a hilarious family movie with a heart that revolves around unlikely “parents” Arci (Vice Ganda) and Paco (Coco Martin). Arci gains custody of his best friend’s children Megan (Awra Briguela) and Ernie (Onyok Pineda) just before she dies. The children’s uncle, Paco, have no choice but to join the riotous of their newfound family. Arci and Paco will now embark on the craziest and greatest adventure of their lives as they play the roles of Momshie and Papshie to both Megan and Ernie.
TSPG is the much-awaited reunion of Vice and Coco in the big screen since their historic, debut collaboration in 2015 in the record-breaking, smash hit film Beauty and the Bestie. As Arci and Paco, Vice and Coco will serve as the light and foundation of unadulterated laughter that will officially kick-off the Christmas season.
It should be noted that this also marks the very first collaboration of the phenomenal Vice-Coco movie tandem with blockbuster director Bb. Joyce Bernal, who was at the helm of such successful films as “Bakit Hindi Ka Crush ng Crush Mo?,” “Da Possessed,” and “Everything About Her,” and this year’s breakout child stars Awra Briguela and Onyok Pineda who both gained massive popularity because of their amazing and standout performances on the top-rating ABS-CBN primetime series FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.
