After her trending collab with Barbie Forteza on her YouTube channel, actress and social media personality Ivana Alawi meets the press for chikahan and to give thanks for the support she’s been getting.
We’ve known her mostly for her video blogs (vlogs) online, which earned her millions of views and followers and also monetarily, which led her to have the means to help others financially. Having a pure heart in this economy and society is rare. She may not admit it, but we think the world needs more Ivana Alawi.
During the media thanksgiving and press conference, Ivana shares what she’s most thankful for. “Marami, pero kung may isang bagay akong gustong ipagpasalamat ay ‘yung pagmamahal sa akin,” she opens the conference.
Since she’s known for her vlogs, which celebrity or personality does she want to collaborate with on her next video?
“Naka-collab ko, si Fyang, ‘yung latest, kasi tuwang tuwa ako sa ugali niya. I really wanted to meet her kasi pinapanood ko siya sa PBB. ‘Yung hindi pa, taasan ko na ang pangarap, si Ms. Anne Curtis.”
For someone who is now successful and well-established, is there anything she still dreams of achieving someday?
“Meron akong isang pangarap na maa-achieve ko very, very soon. Pangarap ko siya dati pa.”
The media conference was held last March 7, before Ivana’s inclusion in Pinoy Big Brother Collab Edition. This may be it.
“Ang next na pangarap ko, siyempre makabuo ng pamilya, maging housewife. Hindi pa natutupad ‘yun,” Ivana continues.
It’s been almost a year since she was last seen on TV via FPJ’s Batang Quiapo and more than two years on the big screen. When will we see Ivana act again?
“Malapit na, this year lahat. So, meron kaming teleserye na gagawin this year and merong movie, this year din.”
