THE Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) has classified a total of 10,278 television and film materials, including plugs and trailers, for the month of August 2025.
Of this number, 9,326 were television programs, followed by 712 TV plugs, 84 publicity materials, 111 movie trailers and 45 local and foreign films.
This is part of the Agency’s effort to ensure that materials submitted to the Board meet the age-appropriate rating and classification standards.
“The MTRCB remains steadfast in its mission to uphold responsible and age-appropriate rating, while supporting the growth of the creative industry,” said MTRCB Chairperson and CEO Lala Sotto.
With this latest count, the total number of materials rated and classified by the Board from January to August 2025 has reached 125,369.
