MANILA, Philippines — Space at One Ayala was recently transformed into an aviation-themed terminal like no other as Prime Video hosted the media launch and preview screening for LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines Season 2. Ditching the typical Manila traffic and long lines, press members, influencers, and VIP guests were welcomed with interactive photo booths, classic Pinoy street food, and the ultimate test: maintaining a straight face.
The excitement kicked off on the blue carpet as host Vice Ganda made a grand entrance alongside this season’s powerhouse lineup of comedy heavyweights and viral stars: Long Mejia, Epy Quizon, Candy Pangilinan, Ethel Booba, Pooh, Donna Cariaga, Chariz Solomon, Esnyr, James Caraan, and Charuth.
Serving as the mastermind of the challenge, Vice Ganda returns to enforce the series’ golden rule: laugh, and you’re out.
During the media Q&A, the cast offered a hilarious glimpse into the high-stakes chaos, sharing the struggle of keeping a straight face against non-stop comedy. Attendees were then treated to an exclusive screening of the premiere episode, getting a front-row seat to the unpredictable twists and comedy battles ahead.
LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines Season 2 is now streaming exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories. Produced by UXS Inc. for Amazon MGM Studios, the hit series is based on Japan’s acclaimed Prime Original Documental, created by Hitoshi Matsumoto.
