The upcoming 20th anniversary staging of ‘Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Musikal’ is officially opening its Amazonista auditions to drag performers, giving queens the opportunity to bring to life some of the musical’s most memorable larger-than-life characters.

Musical drama movie ‘The Heart of Music’ starring Gladys Reyes opens in cinemas on December 10, 2025.
Drawing directly from its title, “Nasaan si Hesus?” (Where is Jesus?), this inspirational musical film explores the daily human quest for meaning. The story follows the intertwined lives of various individuals in the village of Sto. Niño as they begin to question the presence and meaning of God in their own lives. Opens exclusively on SM Cinemas on December 3.
A congratulations is in order as Wicked: For Good earns ₱163.5 million in the 5-day opening weekend box office. That’s a 54% jump from the opening weekend of the first Wicked film. The Philippines charted high international sales, ranking sixth worldwide outside of the United States. Wicked: For Good also holds the achievement for having the biggest opening weekend for Universal in 2025, and since 2018.
In anticipation of one of the most awaited films of 2025, Ayala Malls Cinemas prepared a Wicked: For Good themed cinema experience for moviegoers. The Movie Snackbar carries limited-edition popcorn flavors inspired by the film: Pink Sweet Bubble Pop and Green Emerald Nori Crunch. Stars Darren Espanto and Andrea Brilliantes also got to walk down the yellow brick road, stunning in Wicked-themed outfits of pink and green. They then shared a special moment with Grande and Erivo as they posed together on the yellow carpet. It was a dream come true for the two Filipino stars, who met Grande a decade ago.
It’s hard to follow how big ‘Wicked’ (2024) is, visually and emotionally, how the talents of the lead stars presented in the first film are even harder to top. But ‘Wicked: For Good’ demonstrated sufficient drama, magic and music for the fans and non-fans to have their “wicked” ending.
