QCinema International Film Festival’s Screen International showcases the year’s most talked-about, award-winning films from around the world, carefully curated to engage audiences with diverse perspectives and distinct storytelling styles. This section features 10 films from world-renowned directors, each celebrated for their unique approaches and acclaimed works.

QCinema announces participants selected for the 2024 QCinema Critics Lab 2024

For its 12th year, QCinema International Film Festival (QCIFF) is opening its doors for the second time to six (6) emerging and established critics from all over the Philippines to participate in the QCinema Critics Lab.

The 2024 QCinema Critics Lab participants are Acer Batislaong, Brontë Lacsamana, Joaquin Singson, Ligaya Villablanca, Maverick Alviar, and Mac John Bautista.

QCinema International Film Festival to showcase 77 titles from November 7 to 18

QCinema International Film Festival returns with The Gaze as its theme, inviting audiences to explore diverse perspectives through film. From the masculine and feminine gaze to new ways of seeing the world, this year’s festival showcases 77 titles, including 22 short films and 55 full-length films, across 11 sections. 

The festival will take place from November 8 to 17 across Gateway Cineplex 18, Ayala Malls Cinema at Trinoma, Red Carpet at Shangri-la Plaza, and Powerplant Mall.

Four Shorts to Headline QCinema International Film Festival

For the first time, a short film program will kick off the QCinema International Film Festival. Now in its 12th edition, the festival will open with the Asian premiere of Directors’ Factory Philippines, an omnibus film project initiated by Cannes Directors’ Fortnight. The film debuted at the 77th Cannes Film Festival earlier this year.
