MOVIE REVIEW: Mr. Right (2016)

MR. RIGHT (2016) Review
Directed by Paco Cabezas

The charms of Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell will always be visible in whatever film they do. Mr. Right gets that and takes advantage of that but its ridiculous story doesn’t compliment the talents of the two. It’s a B-Movie sugar coated by the charms of its stars.

The film is your typical romantic comedy mixed with action. It’s predictable and clunky but it’s fun at times because of its stars. You might read this a lot everywhere that Anna Kendrick and Sam Rockwell is and will be the only reason you’ll enjoy the film. Because it’s true and while the story is absurd, the two just puts their charisma on even on the lamest conversations and you’re good with it.

Of course it’s unforgivable and you just can’t endure some of it as they are just going around and around to prolong their running time and just try to offer something fun and entertaining, whether its something ridiculous or an action sequence that probably is unrealistic. But who cares? As long as the two are on screen, you will try as much as possible to enjoy it.
