The supernatural action-thriller of Lycans (Werewolves) versus Vampires is back for its fifth installment titled as “Underworld: Blood Wars.”
The Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment franchise is returning to the big screen along with its leading lady Kate Beckinsale, reprising her role as the immensely deadly vampire Selene. She isn’t the only one returning, as fellow Underworld actors Theo James and Charles Dance appear in the film as well.
Blood Wars will unveil a new leader for the formidable Lycans, played by Tobias Menzies, along with an ambitious new vampire played by Lara Pulver. With director Anna Foerster (Outlander) at the helm, the movie is scheduled to release on October of this year, though filming has already wrapped.
