One of 2015’s best film Apocalypse Child starring Sid Lucero, Gwen Zamora, Ana Abad Santos, RK Bagatsing, Annicka Dolonius and Archie Alemania will be having a wide release this October. The film is directed by Mario Cornejo.
The film won best director for Mario Cornejo, best artistic achievement award for editing for Lawrence Ang, Best Film, and best supporting actress for Annicko Dolonius at the 2015 QCinema International Film Festival.
Apocalypse Child is another collaboration by Mario Cornejo and Monster Jimenez. It is made possible with the support of the QCinema Film Festival (Philippines) and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA). This film is directed by Mario Cornejo and produced by Monster Jimenez.
Synopsis
Ford, a surfing instructor from the Philippines has been told his whole life that he’s the son of Francis Ford Coppola. He’s wasted his youth waiting as his mother petitions the director to acknowledge Ford as his son. But as the surfing season ends, he’s forced to confront his past.
