Judy Ann Santos returns to the mainstream scene via Star Cinema, The IdeaFirst Company and Quantum Films’ “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes.”
Her last film, Kusina was an official entry to the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival 2016, but her last mainstream movie was her collaboration with Vic Sotto and Bong Revilla, Jr titled Si Agimat, Si Enteng at Si Ako which was an official entry to the 2012 Metro Manila Film Festival.
Joining her is one of the most versatile and award-winning actresses in the Philippines, Angelica Panganiban. The two worked together in two TV series Sa Puso Ko Iingatan Ka in 2002 and Ysabella in 2007. But this is the first time they’ll be working together in a movie.
Directed by internationally-acclaimed director Jun Robles Lana (Die Beautiful, Anino sa Likod ng Buwan), the film is said to be a situational comedy, rather than what we would have thought, a heavy drama or a movie about infidelity.
This is definitely a big project with three film production involved starring two of the greatest Filipino actors today.
No other details have been revealed But we’re definitely looking forward to seeing this.
