‘Alita: Battle Angel’ Review: Offers Some of the Best Action Sequences in Recent Memory

Directed by Robert Rodriguez

This one had one of the longest promotions ever because of its playdate being pushed back multiple times but the trailers were awesome, the visuals were stunning. Everybody’s waiting to see it. But was the wait worth it?

If you’re just for the visuals and the action sequences, then you’re in for a treat. The action scenes in Alita: Battle Angel feels fresh, it looks original, and best of all, it’s smooth that even though it goes from here to there quickly, it’s not hard to watch.

As for the story, it feels like this should have been a 3-hour long movie that there’s something missing in the narrative it’s emotional story can’t keep up with its visuals. But it’s not all that bad, it still looks decent, there’s promise.

It’s a fresh new world to see. Alita: Battle Angel delivers the goods visually and there are some emotional bits here and there. It’s a decent start of a could-be movie franchise. And it sure looks there’s more than enough to see from its rich story in the future, hopefully.
