Daang Dokyu Film Festival which was scheduled on March 16-21 has been postponed. Read the official statement below:
The Daang Dokyu team would like to thank all of you for the excitement you have shown over the past days and weeks leading up to the festival. We’re just as eager, but your health, safety, and well-being are our priority. Following the recent declaration of a state of public health emergency, as well as the suspension of all public events at the UP Film Center, we have decided to postpone Daang Dokyu initially scheduled for March 16-21 to a later date this year.
With every aspect of the festival almost ready, and with so much support from the film community and the public, this has been a very difficult decision for all of us. We are committed to continue with the festival and its entire line-up of films and events. When this health crisis is over and with your continued support, we promise to return even stronger.
To our valued audience who booked tickets in advance, we shall honor your tickets on the rescheduled festival days. In the meantime, we are sending you a gift as a gesture of gratitude.
On the other hand, if you’d like to claim a refund, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to receive instructions. Rest assured that we fully understand your concerns and we will assist you in the process.
Daang Dokyu is proud to premiere its first documentary film festival about the Philippines. It celebrates the greatest documentaries for film and television as well as discover hidden films from different regions.
