‘Slay Zone’ starring Glaiza de Castro and Pokwang a different Valentine’s Day offering

Are you tired of the usual romance movies during Valentine’s season? Are you the type of person that isn’t a fun of fluff and anything that’s cute and cheesy on screen? Wide International Film Productions gives you the option to watch starting February 14.

Slay Zone is about a rural area called Pulang Araw which is headed by newly-appointed Police Captain Corazon Fernandez (Pokwang). It’s being promoted by V (Glaiza de Castro) a famous vlogger and model, suddenly turns into a slay zone when a series of killings happen. Both their lives and the lives of the people around them are endangered in the course of finding out the truth behind the murders.

For Glaiza, what’s different about Slay Zone from her past projects?

“It’s something na hindi ko pa nagagawa in a very long time.”

May gulat factor. And I think kaya rin kami nagkasundo ng mga producers, very brave sila, very bold to come up with projects na pag-uusapan na mari-realize nila na iba ‘to.

And what are you most excited about the movie for the audience to experiece or see?

‘Slay Zone’ is now showing in cinemas nationwide from Wide International Film Productions. Starring Pokwang and Glaiza de Castro with Maui Taylor, Rico Barrera, Abed Green, Queenay Mercado and Richard Armstrong, directed by Louie Ignacio.
