With four singles in their discography, with members’ ages ranging from 14 to 19, CLOUD 7 is composed of the youngest members of a Pinoy Pop group in the Philippines.
Lukas, Johann, Egypt, Kairo, Migz, PJ and Fian are taking their fans higher as they are officially launched as Sparkle artists.
It has been almost two years since they were launched in August 2023, with their first single, ‘Tara Na.’ But after that and a lot of exposures here and there, you wouldn’t believe how CLOUD 7 can draw their fans and casual audiences in their mall and provincial shows.
This attests to the star power of the youngest Ppop group in the Philippines.
During the Sparkle media launch, we get to ask CLOUD 7 about their thoughts in their chosen career.
How does it feel to be part of the P-pop community at a very young age?
“Super thankful kami and honored to be part of the growing P-pop community and it’s all thanks sa Sparkle GMA and sa mga taong tumutulong. Super thankful kami sa mga opportunities na nabibigay sa amin,” answers C7 Kairo.
“We feel very proud knowing na kahit mga bata pa din kami, nagkakaroon kami ng motivation para ipakita sa kanila na kayang kaya naming makipagsabayan,” continues C7 PJ.
How are they involved in creating their music?
“What we contribute sa paggawa ng kanta namin is we give ideas and siyempre, hindi lang kami nagbibigay ng ideas individually, nagko-collaborate din kami kung ano ang mga gustong kanta, anong vibe, sino ang bagay kumanta sa anong part ng song. Tsaka bine-base namin siya sa inspiration namin about our dreams kasi back then and right until now, big dreamers pa din kami kasi we want to explore around the world pa since bata pa kami. Bine-base na lang namin sa mga gusto naming gawin,” shares C7 Johann.
What about acting? Are they interested to also act on TV and movie?
“Ako, dahil nagka-show na din ako called ‘Pulang Araw,’ napag-usapan at napag-desisyunan namin na willing talaga kami and excited kami to explore other than singing and dancing. Super happy kami dahil pino-provide kami ng GMA Sparkle ng acting workshop. Very excited and open kami,” shares C7 Migz.
“And givent the chance na mag-acting kami, kapag ako po maga-acting, mga related to singing and dancing,” adds C7 Johann.
“Ako, parang ‘Mga Batang Riles,” joins C7 Fian as other members agree in excitement.
Fans of CLOUD 7 collectively known as Rainbows has something to look forward to this May 30 as they will release their latest single titled ‘Bara Bara.’
