August 13, 2025 – Fans were in for a treat at the Alamo Drafthouse in South Lamar, Texas, as Academy Award-nominated actor Austin Butler and Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky made a special appearance during the exclusive screening of Caught Stealing. The crime thriller stars Butler as a former baseball player who gets caught in the dangerous criminal underworld of New York.

Actor Matthew McConaughey also dropped by to host the event, the Texas native leading the discussion with Aronofsky and Butler.
Caught Stealing takes you on a wild ride starting September 10 in Philippine cinemas.

Hank Thompson (Austin Butler) was a high-school baseball phenom who can’t play anymore, but everything else is going okay. He’s got a great girl (Zoë Kravitz), tends bar at a New York dive, and his favorite team is making an underdog run at the pennant.
