Nathan Studios Redefines Inclusivity: ‘I’mPerfect’ Cast and ‘Time to Dance’ Winner Officially Join the Family

In a powerful move that shifts the landscape of Philippine entertainment, Nathan Studios officially signs the history-making cast of the film ‘I’m Perfect’ and the grand champion of ‘Time to Dance,’ Ice, to their roster of talent.

The event was more than a formal ceremony; it was a celebration of “talent without limits.” The cast of I’mPerfect, composed of talented actors with Down Syndrome, Bea Mendoza, Royce Gian Rivera, Richelle Uy, Gio Dicen, Jonathan Tilos, Javi Sarmiento, Carl Garcia, Angela Batallones, Earl Amaba and MMFF 2025 Best Actress, Krystel Go, recently took the industry by storm by clinching major awards at the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), including Best Picture, Best Actress for Krystel Go, and Best Cast Ensemble. Joining them in the spotlight was Ice, the standout winner of the ABS-CBN dance competition Time to Dance, marking a new era of diverse representation for the production house.

A Vision of Authenticity

Nathan Studios has consistently pushed for narratives that go beyond the mainstream. By signing these artists, the studio reaffirms its commitment to nurturing “raw skills and creativity” that stem from a place of truth. The signing serves as a bridge for these artists to transition from their initial breakout success into long-term careers within the industry and beyond.

During the event, Nathan Studios Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Sylvia Sanchez delivered an emotional and empowering speech, highlighting the studio’s unwavering belief in their new “angels.”

“Magandang araw sa ating lahat. First and foremost, thank you all for being with us today.

Today is a very special day for Nathan Studios and, more importantly, for our artists.

These artists, our angels, our persons with Down Syndrome, are full of raw skills, creativity, at isang klase ng authenticity na bihirang-bihira. Totoo, buo, at galing mismo sa puso.

Bago pa man magsimula ang pelikulang I’MPERFECT, nakikitaan na namin kayo ng potensyal. We believed in you even before the cameras rolled—before the lights, before the applause. And recently, that belief was proven true when you made history at the Metro Manila Film Festival: Best Picture, Best Actress for Krystel Go, and Best Cast Ensemble.

We see your potential. We see your hard work. And most of all, we believe in you.

Although we are primarily a production company, itong contract signing namin ay paraan namin para ma-honor ang artists namin to watch them grow from one project to the next—sa showbiz man o sa labas nito.

Welcome to Nathan Studios. This is just the beginning and we are so, so proud to be on this journey with you.”

Looking Forward

The signing marks a milestone in the local film and TV industry, proving that excellence is not defined by a diagnosis or a label. With the guidance of Ms. Sylvia Sanchez and the entire Nathan Studios team, these artists are poised to continue breaking barriers and inspiring audiences across the globe.
