After months of look tests and behind-the-scenes looks, Regal Entertainment has finally released the first official look at Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra in their upcoming romantic drama, Almost Us. To say the internet is “shook” would be an understatement—within minutes of the reveal, the photo sent the JMFyang fandom into a full-scale frenzy.

Almost Us marks the highly anticipated big-screen debut of JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith as lead stars. While the pair previously dominated the box office in the MMFF horror hit Shake, Rattle & Roll: Evil Origins and built a massive digital following through the iWant original series Ghosting (Parts 1 and 2), this film serves as their first full-length feature as a headlining duo.
Handpicked by director Dan Villegas, the project features a screenplay by veteran rom-com writer Miguel Sevilla. The film is a powerhouse collaboration between Regal Entertainment and Project 8 Projects—the production house behind some of the country’s most beloved romances.
