MANILA, Philippines (August 28, 2026) — Families across the Philippines can soon enjoy Disney and Pixar’s latest box-office hit at home when Toy Story 5 streams exclusively on Disney+ starting September 23, 2026.
Crossing $1.1 billion at the global box office since its June theatrical debut, the film has earned widespread critical acclaim, securing a “Certified Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an “A” CinemaScore. The new installment pits classic favorites Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie against a modern challenge: “Toy meets Tech.” The gang finds their role threatened by Lilypad, a sleek new tablet device with bold ideas on how their kid, Bonnie, should spend her playtime.
Ahead of the streaming release, fans can watch a new music video for the piano version of Taylor Swift’s hit single “I Knew It, I Knew You.” Written and produced alongside Jack Antonoff, the track features scenes from the film and is now streaming on Disney+, Spotify, and Apple Music.
Directed by Oscar winner Andrew Stanton and co-directed by Kenna Harris, Toy Story 5 joins the rest of the Academy Award-winning franchise on Disney+, which stands as the platform’s most-watched movie franchise with over 2 billion hours streamed globally.
