The official teaser for “Amir” has crossed 4 million views shortly after its release, generating high anticipation for the fantasy-drama from GMA Pictures, GMA Public Affairs, and Brightburn Entertainment. Serving as an official entry to the 52nd Metro Manila Film Festival, the film features a star-studded cast led by Dennis Trillo, Glaiza de Castro, and Will Ashley, with child actor Argus Aspiras stepping into the title role.
Crafted by the creative team behind Firefly and Green Bones, the movie is directed by Zig Dulay and co-written by National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee alongside award-winning screenwriter Anj Atienza. The story centers on a moving narrative that explores the world through a child’s eyes.
Moviegoers quickly took to social media to share their excitement. One netizen gushed, “Was speechless. Ang ganda,” while another wrote, “Bakit ako naiiyak?
