The QCinema Pride Film Festival returns this June with a lineup of seven acclaimed LGBTQIA+ features from nine countries, bringing together stories of love, identity, desire, belonging, and resistance from some of the most exciting voices in contemporary cinema.
The upcoming 20th anniversary staging of ‘Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Musikal’ is officially opening its Amazonista auditions to drag performers, giving queens the opportunity to bring to life some of the musical’s most memorable larger-than-life characters.
The QCinema Pride Film Festival returns this June with a lineup of seven acclaimed LGBTQIA+ features from nine countries, bringing together stories of love, identity, desire, belonging, and resistance from some of the most exciting voices in contemporary cinema. The program features recent winners from film festivals in Berlin, Busan, Jeonju, and Manila, spanning romance, psychological drama, comedy, animation, and thriller.
It has been more than a decade since The Rich Man’s Daughter aired on free TV via GMA Network. It has also been more than a decade since Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita was released in cinemas. These two titles remain relevant today, as they tell groundbreaking stories about the LGBTQIA+ community, especially lesbians.
The cameras haven’t even started rolling yet, but ‘The Day I Loved You, Two’ lead stars Raven Rigor and Raynold Tan made the audience giddy during their media launch as they talked about their characters and working together for the first time.

Celebrate queer Filipino cinema classics with Reel Pride at Ayala Malls Cinemas, in celebration of Pride Month. Powerful, diverse, and trailblazing queer Filipino stories are back on the big screen from June 25 to July 1, 2025 at Ayala Malls Trinoma, Fairview Terraces, Market Market and Manila Bay cinemas.
