The cameras haven’t even started rolling yet, but ‘The Day I Loved You, Two’ lead stars Raven Rigor and Raynold Tan made the audience giddy during their media launch as they talked about their characters and working together for the first time.

‘The Day I Loved You, Two’ is the follow-up to Regal Entertainment, Inc.’s hit online boys’ love series in 2023, ‘The Day I Loved You.’
While its predecessor tackles first love duing High School days, ‘The Day I Loved You, Two’ will explore the college life of Eli, played by Raynold Tan, while he moves forward from his first love.
“I play the character of Rev. Medyo na-surprise ako dito and super happy na natuloy ‘to,” Raven shares as he introduces himself to the media.
“I play the role of Eli. Like in season 1, Eli is a bit cheeky, but you will see a more emotional and grounded version of him here,” Raynold Tan shares.
When asked what their first impressions of each other were, Raven and Raynold look at each other, like they’re hesitating to answer first.
“My first impression was, gwapo!” Raynold exclaims. “Talaga?” Raven reacts giddily.
“Yun din ang first impression ko. Pero di pa kasi kami masyado (nagkakasama). Excited talaga ako sa taping, super excited ako. Hindi pa kasi kami masyadong nagkikita pero alam kong madaming magiging interaction (namin). Umaabot na nga sa pupunta sa Singapore (‘yung naging usapan), sabi ko hindi pa naman kami close.” Raven looks at Raynold, “Joke lang!” Then the two started whispering at each other like there’s no one around. “Basta,” Raven says.
“It’s the same (comparing his first impression to Raven and when they met). No, initially I was afraid because I hadn’t seen him before and having to do being lovers, expecting to know each other for a while, should be quite tough. But after meeting him, after talking to him, I feel really comfortable now. And I think it’s going to be a good show and you can look forward to a lot of kilig moments,” Raynold answers.
‘The Day I Loved You, Two’ is directed by Easy Ferrer and also stars Angelica Lao, Jake Lawrence, Kaleb Obg, Gabo Barretto and Jazil Sarinas.
