15 Ant-ManMarvel’s Ant-Man (2015) Review
4/5

Like its premise, the film operates in a smaller scale within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With exceptional cast, it materializes a film that is still of Marvel standards. A fun-filled adventure that has a heart in all sizes. Ant-Man puts comedy star Paul Rudd in a much bigger role and he handles it smoothly with his humor and charm. Everything is Marvel standard here, though from action sequences to surprises.

What lacks here is the distinct direction where the personalities of the characters are played well. One would think that if not for Edgar Wright’s departure, everything could’ve been a solid and fresh look at a Marvel movie. But as for director Peyton Reed, the fun is embraced by the actors which is clear frame by frame, lack of ingenuity may be but the final product is still a thrilling adventure every moviegoer will enjoy.
