PAPA FRANCISCO: THE POPE FRANCIS STORY (2015) Review
Directed by Beda Docampo Feijoó
“You must take life as it comes.”
Though it feels and looks like a TV movie, Papa Francisco: The Pope Francis Story is a sincere tale of a humble journey to being the most important person of the catholic community. It has a pretty modest production but the film still works with its charismatic and well-acted protagonist. The film doesn’t go big dramatically, it just tells a story of a likable, selfless, humble and kind person. But inserting a local music video in the end of the film is distasteful and unnecessary.
