Sometimes, the best discussions on films happen over a cup of coffee.
Now on its fourth year, the UP Cinema Arts Society (UP CAST) is back with Kape’t Pelikula.
A seminar that gathers the country’s influential and distinguished film practitioners to speak in front of today’s film community to give a scope of their creative processes, cultivating a community of filmmakers and enthusiasts.
The speakers for this year’s Kape Pelikula are Petersen Vargas (2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten), Roland Tolentino, Nonie Buencamino (Ang Babaeng Humayo, Smaller and Smaller Circles), Kidlat Tahimik (Balikbayan #1 Memories of Overdevelopment Redux III), Art Acuna (Heneral Luna. Posas) and Antoinette Jadaone (Never Not Love You, That Thing Called Tadhana).
The event will be held at the School of Economics, University of the Philippines Diliman, Quezon City. Doors open at 8:30AM.
