Horor movie “The Grudge” which was a remake of the Japanese horror film franchise gets a reboot from Universal Pictures and has started production today.
A photo from the Grudge Instagram account shows that the film has started its production.
“A new #Grudge is forming in 2019,” the caption says. The film is being directed by Nick Pesce, the man behind The Eyes of My Mother and Piercing. It’s director of Photography is Zachary Galler, the cinematographer of The Ticket.
The film stars Andrea Riseborough, Jon Cho, Lin Shaye and Jackie Weaver and is slated to open in US theaters in August 2019.
