Merong meaning ‘yung kwento, meron kang matututunan when it comes to handling a special child, meron kang matututunan sa pamilya mo kung paano makisama,” Jhassy Busran answers why people should watch her upcoming movie ‘Unspoken Letters.’
‘Unspoken Letters’ is about a seventeen year old girl Felipa (Busran) who functions at the level of a seven year old child. Felipa looks up to her siblings and dreams of following their footsteps.
Felipa is the youngest in a family faced with the challenges of dealing with neuro-diverse individuals, an ailing father, and the uncovering of hidden truths about their family’s past.

But why is the film titled ‘Unspoken Letters’?
“Unspoken sa bawat isa. Words or letters na masyadong kinikimkim natin.
Dream role
During the media conference, Jhassy mentions that her role in Unspoken Letters is her dream role. Why is that?
“Gusto ko pong mapalawak ‘yung knowledge ko about them (neuro-diverse people) .
‘Unspoken Letters’ also emphasizes the importance of gratitude and humility towards parents.
Alongside Jhassy are some of the most talented and veteran actors in the industry – Tonton Gutierrez, Glydel Mercado, Gladys Reyes, Matet de Leon and Simon Ibarra.
Also in the cast are Daria Ramirez, Deborah Sun, Orlando Sol, John Hendrick Kristine Samson and MJ Manuel.
The film is written and directed by Gat Alaman. He’s also the executive producer and co-director of the film with Italian director Paolo Bertaola and Andy Andico as the associate director.
‘Unspoken Letters’ will have its red carpet premiere on November 30, Thursday, 6PM at TriNoMa Mall Cinema 6 in Quezon City. It will be shown in cinemas nationwide starting December 13, released and distributed by Reality Entertainment – an early Christmas present from Utmost Creatives Motion Pictures.
