BOY KILLS WORLD (2024) Review
Directed by Moritz Mohr
Known for his role as Pennywise in IT and IT: Chapter Two, Bill Skarsgard manages to transform not just physically but also how he becomes the ultimate killing person, Boy, in Moritz Mohr’s revenge action thriller ‘Boy Kills World’
If you’re a fan of bloody and revenge stories, Boy Kills World will deliver everything with flying colors. It will take you on the edge of your seat with every action scenes and give you uncomfortable and thrilling scenes that is best seen on the big screen. Bill Skarsgard is a delight not just because of how he transformed physically but also how different he moves, he talks and acts.
The film feels like a video game at times especially since Boy uses the voice from an arcade game. But even the fight scenes gets to be like its from a video game. But more than looking like a video game, the fight scenes get to be more engaging with how they were built up, how they were choreographed and how bloody they are.
Also, props to Jessica Rothe, Michelle Dockery, Brett Gelman, Sharlto Copley, Famke Janssen and Yayan Ruhian for giving Boy Kills World a great ensemble.
Best be ready for its breathtaking final fight scene because you will definitely hold your breath of how intense and uncomfortable the scenes are.
