It’s not who you live for… it’s who you’d die for. In the upcoming intense adventure thriller Heart of the Beast, Brad Pitt plays Special Forces officer James Belmont, who, after a harrowing plane crash, finds himself stranded deep in the Alaskan wilderness with no other survivor besides his combat dog, Odin. Together, they are forced into a brutal fight for survival against the elements.
The mysterious entity in Passenger is not a creature, says writer Zachary Donohue. “He doesn’t just come out and kill you. Part of his mythos is that he wants to torment you, to ride you the whole distance you can go, until you break down, literally,” often causing his victims to crash themselves into their own deaths.

“On location, a lot of people had scary experiences,” shares director André Øvredal in a new featurette for horror movie Passenger. In the film, after a young couple witnesses a gruesome highway accident, they soon realize they did not leave the crash scene alone, as a demonic presence called the Passenger that won’t stop until it claims them both turns their van life adventure into a nightmare.

James Wan, a Mortal Kombat video game fan and one of the producers of the 2021 film adaptation, says that the biggest thing about “Mortal Kombat II” is there are now tournaments. “This one is bigger in scope and scale,” he says.
