The love team culture in the Philippines is obviously still big. It’s always one of the biggest news in the entertainment industry whenever a pair announces something.
After starring in a few series like ‘Dirty Linen’ and ‘Fractured,’ Francine Diaz and Seth Fedelin or more popularly known as ‘FranSeth,’ will finally star in their first movie together, ‘My Future You.’
My Future You tells the story of Lex, who’s from 2009, who meets Karen, from 2024, through a dating app, despite being 15 years apart. As they grow close, Karen asks Lex to change key moments in her past to prevent her parents’ separation. However, each alteration leads to unintended consequences, reshaping their futures in unpredictable ways. With one final attempt, Lex hopes to correct everything, but some events may be beyond their control.

Chemistry and working discipline on and off camera is a big factor in love teams. That’s why we asked their co-stars Mosang and Izzy Canilla and director Crisanto Aquino on working with FranSeth during the Regal Legacy event.
“I love them pero kasi si, itong gwapong ito (pointing at Seth Fedelin), first day pa lang, they’re all willing to learn. Si Francine, ‘nung una ko siyang ma-meet talagang nakita ko sa kanya na focus na focus siya sa ginagawa niya. But they are loving people, I love them both kasi talagang magaan silang katrabaho together. Walang echos ‘yan ha. Kapag nakikita ko sila together, they talk, pinag-uusapan nila ginagawa nila. Nagtatanungan sila kung okay ba ‘to o okay ba ganyan, may mga biruan. Bagay sa kanila ‘yung My Future You at talagang I’m very excited kasi the film is for them,” shares My Future You co-star Mosang.
“Napansin ko din po during shoot namin, kung maaalala ninyo po ‘yung scene kanina (sa teaser) na may video call sila, during po nung time na ‘yun, nandun din po sa set si Seth para suportahan si Francine sa sequence na ‘yun kaya dun ko po talaga nakita na hindi sila nandyan para sa work, kumbaga nandyan sila para suportahan ang isa’t isa,” Izzy Canillo on working with FranSeth.
“Susuportahan ko ‘yung sinabi ni Izzy kasi after our reading, first reading, kinausap ko silang dalawa. Sabi ko, maraming eksenang magcha-chat kayo, magvi-video call pero wala kayo sa camera. Can you support each other? Kahit wala ka sa camera, can you be behind the camera to throw your lines? Ginawa nila. Gusto ko kasi mas normal ‘yung reaction nila eh. Hindi AD (Assistant Director) ‘yung nagbabato ng dialogue, hindi scriptcon (script continuity) ‘yung nagbabato ng dialogue. Kapag co-actor kasi mas natural magre-respond ‘yung kausap eh. Also, I really adore these two kasi kapag nasa set ako, nasa isang area lang sila, pinag-uusapan nila ‘yung script, nakikita ko kayong dalawa (pointing at FranSeth), pinag-uusapan nila ‘yung script, paano siya aatakihin, they talk about the scene. I mean, those are the traits of professional actors eh. These are really professional young actors of our generation. Mahusay sila and they always support each other, hindi sila naghihiwalay kahit sa pagkain, nagsu-subuan,” My Future You director Crisanto Aquino shares.
My Future You also stars Almira Muhlach, Christian Vasquez, PeeWee O’Hara, Bodjie Pascua, Marcus Madrigal, Vance Larena. Coming to cinemas soon from Regal Entertainment, Inc.
