Landmark Oasis Documentary “Don’t Look Back In Anger” to Premiere at Venice International Film Festival Before Disney+ Debut

The highly anticipated Hulu Original documentary “Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger” is set to make its world premiere at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival before heading to cinemas and streaming platforms worldwide. Distributed globally by Disney+, the film will enjoy a special theatrical run in Philippine cinemas starting September 11, ahead of its exclusive streaming debut on Disney+ internationally—and on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S.—later this year.

Created by Oscar-nominated writer Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders) and directed by the acclaimed duo Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (Shut Up and Play the Hits), the documentary offers an intimate, unapologetically uplifting account of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s historic Oasis Live ‘25 reunion tour. The film captures the raw emotion and massive global impact of the band’s return, offering unprecedented access to rehearsals, backstage moments, and explosive live performances, alongside the first joint interviews with Noel and Liam in over two decades.

Produced by Magna Studios and presented by Sony Music Vision in association with Sony Music Entertainment UK, the documentary boasts a top-tier creative and technical crew. The film is produced by Sam Bridger (Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now) and Guy Heeley (Locke), with cinematography by Haris Zambarloukos (Belfast), sound mixing by Oscar winners James Mather (Top Gun: Maverick) and Tarn Willers (The Zone of Interest), and editing by George Cragg and Martina Zamolo.
