It has been more than 20 years since the classic sitcom Home Along Da Riles aired its final episode in August 2003 on ABS-CBN. While it did spawn a spin-off series, Home Along Da Airport, nothing quite beat the original.
As time passed, the ultimate heartbreak struck the Home Along Da Riles family when the King of Comedy, Dolphyβor Tatay Kevin, as they fondly call himβpassed away in July 2012.
At that time, materializing a Home Along project felt impossible. But years later, after the cast shared glimpses of their heartwarming personal reunions on social media, audiences grew excited over the possibility of an official on-screen reunion.
Alas, Home Along Da Riles: Da Reunion has finally been made, and it is set to screen in cinemas nationwide on June 17, 2026.

But who was the first and last to say yes to the project? What were the challenges of bringing the family back together for this monumental reunion?
Sa totoo niyan, it took us two and a half years para ma-mount.
“Pero when we started contacting them, walang humindi naman sa Home Along. In fact, everyone was so excited to be part of the movie. Ni walang nagtanong kung gaano kalaki ‘yung role nila, it’s just you know, the fact that we’re working with something together, tapos hindi lang basta-basta na project, kundi ‘yung Home Along Da Riles maibalik ulit, okay na lahat. Ang mahirap lang talaga ay ‘yung ma-track down ang isa’t isa at mga schedules, kasi before na-plano lahat ‘to, may mga kanya-kanyang trabaho ang bawat isa sa amin. But still kahit ganoon, they really made time for Home Along shootings and get togethers, kaya we are so grateful,” Maybelyn dela Cruz adds.
Kaya noong first shooting day namin, medyo nangangapa-ngapa kami, pero pagkatapos siguro nung first take, akala mo isang araw lang kaming hindi nagkita-kita.

While they may not be related by blood, it has always been a true family affair for the cast of Home Along Da Riles.
Dolphy might no longer be with us, but his presence in Da Reunion will absolutely be felt, the cast assures.
