“Ngayon, bawas bakbakan na. More love, more yakapan, more kantahan—I’m really very inspired. Sabi ko, every day parang ang ganda din ng positive vibes. Kausap ko ang batang genius, and then we talked about problems of mothers, we talked to celebrities, ang dami naming mga tips for business, so maraming natututunan at maraming inspirasyon.”
Face to Face has a brand-new look and flavor. Since Korina Sanchez took over hosting duties, the morning program has evolved from a barangay-level conflict-resolution showcase into a vibrant lifestyle and talk show now titled Face to Face with Ate Koring.
A Welcome Transition
When asked how she feels about the show’s transformation, the veteran broadcast journalist shared that it was a refreshing and joyful shift:
“It was a happy change, although I was very happy to help people [resolve conflict]. Parang nabawasan na ‘yung abono ko sa mga tao and nabawasan na din siyempre ‘yung kunot ng noo. Ngayon, nakangiti ka talaga from beginning to end. Wala ka nang iniilagan. I’m very happy to be featuring the talents of children, the achievements of Talentadang Pinay, and more. I’m very happy the transition was very smooth, and everybody on our staff is always smiling now.”
Expanded Reach and Cross-Network Collaboration
In addition to its refreshed format, the show is expanding its reach. Viewers can watch the Korina Sanchez-led program not only on TV5 (the Kapatid Network), but across multiple ABS-CBN platforms as well. Furthermore, Sanchez’s award-winning news magazine program, Rated Korina, continues to foster this strong cross-network synergy by airing on TV5.
By blending heartwarming feature stories, practical life tips, and lighthearted celebrity interviews, Face to Face with Ate Koring delivers a daily dose of optimism—proving that inspiring stories and positive vibes can shine just as brightly as dramatic confrontations.
