MANILA, Philippines (October 20, 2026) — Philippine tennis phenom Alex Eala is set to play in front of a record-breaking crowd this winter. More than 20,000 tickets have already been sold for Alex Eala Live: Game. Set. Celebrate, setting the stage for what promises to be the largest one-day tennis event in Philippine history.
On December 8, fans will pack the iconic Philippine Arena to welcome Eala home as she goes head-to-head against Indonesia’s Janice Tjen in a headline clash featuring two of Asia’s brightest young stars.
“It’s amazing to know that so many fans have already bought tickets to come and watch us play,” said Eala. “Thank you to everyone back home for the incredible support. I can’t wait to walk out at the Philippine Arena, hear the roar of the crowd, and take on Janice.”
Ticket demand has already shattered the capacity limits of traditional local tennis venues. Organizers at Tatler Asia envision the event as a landmark moment to inspire the next generation of Filipino athletes.

A Full-Day Tennis & Entertainment Festival
Designed as an all-day sports and entertainment festival, the event features a packed lineup ahead of the Eala vs. Tjen showdown:
- Hot Stars Tournament: The day kicks off with rising stars from the Philippine Tennis Association national juniors and young professionals competing on the main arena court.
- Celebrity Exhibition Match: A fan-favorite entertainment segment featuring high-profile personalities ahead of the main event.
- The Main Event (Eala vs. Tjen): A specially formatted, guaranteed three-set match where the total winner is determined by cumulative games won across all sets. Special event rules, including Overtime and Super Shootout procedures, will be shared with attendees prior to match day.
