Deep inside Khazad-dûm, Dwarf families face growing internal strife, while power struggles in Númenor push the island nation toward civil war. Farther east in Rhûn, Gandalf relies on both his magic and words to rally forces against the gathering shadow.

The Story So Far
Set five years after the fall of Eregion, Season 3 finds Middle-earth engulfed in open war. Sauron’s armies have swept across vast territories, leaving only a few strongholds standing in his way: the barricaded halls of Khazad-dûm, and the Elven sanctuaries of Lindon and Rivendell, both shielded by the power of the Three Rings.
From his newly built tower of Barad-dûr in Mordor, the Dark Lord works tirelessly to complete the weapon that will grant him total dominion: the One Ring. To survive, Elves, Dwarves, Men, and Wizards must set aside their differences before Sauron completes his conquest.
Production & Background
Showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay return as executive producers alongside Lindsey Weber, Kate Hazell, Justin Doble, and director Charlotte Brändström. Matthew Penry-Davey produces, with Ally O’Leary Cantrell, Tim Keene, and Andrew Lee serving as co-producers.
The Rings of Power adapts the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years prior to the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. The drama spans across iconic locations—from the caverns of the Misty Mountains and the forests of Lindon to the shores of Númenor.
The first two seasons (16 episodes total) are currently streaming on Prime Video worldwide.
