INSIDE OUT (2015) Review

“Do you ever look at someone and wonder, What is going on inside their head?”

Ingeniously crafted and its logic though an abstract concept, perfectly makes sense. Inside Out marks another great feature film from Pixar; original, imaginative, colorful and heartwarming. From animation to story, the film is bursting with wit and charm that presents infinite possibilities.

Director Pete Docter with Ronnie Del Carmen (a Filipino) graces us with something fresh, something innovative and a little eccentric, introducing the voices in our head as characters in a film. Like other great Pixar films, Inside Out has a surprising depth, one that is thought-provoking and will leave you with more things to wonder about your childhood and your deepest, saddest and fondest memories. It’s an achievement to come up with something this bold and yet it works in a larger scale, touching the hearts of the viewers and present a colorful story that goes beyond age and imagination.

  1. Good review! I love Inside Out, I saw it like 1000 times! I even have the book (well, in spanish although I would prefer to have it in the english version to be honest). That movie is SO true, so relatable! I agree with all you said in this post! 🙂
