BEFORE WE GO (2015) Review
There’s a pinch of sincerity here but its silly plotting counters the film’s chance of being compelling. Chris Evans stars and directs the film with as much honesty as he can squeeze from the script but it heavily breaks as obvious priorities of the characters are clouded with the story trying to make things romantic. Maybe a more thought-out script would work but it is as stationary as its title.
The stars Evans and Eve gave their best on what’s written on their papers even though it may look insensible at the given time frame. While it feels uninspired, the film really is trying to bring romance to the table but the lead characters jumps from being reserved and confused far too many as to you’d get tired waiting for them to actually fall for each other.
