THE WALK: AN IMAX 3D EXPERIENCE (2015) Review
Directed by Robert Zemeckis
“You cannot lie on stage, the audience will always know what’s inside your heart”
A heart-stopping, incredible true story of an ambitious man knocking every obstacle to chase his dream. The Walk is an awe-inspiring tale that uses the right trick to put the 3D in the story. Though not a fantasy film, Robert Zemeckis’ storytelling felt magical. The wire-walking may have finished and the end credits may have start rolling, but the tension remains heavily walking outside the cinema. The 3D (especially in IMAX) delivers some neat tricks making your movie viewing experience interactive as the picture pops out and thrown at your face.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt may not have been used as more as he should be but the film amuses with its exceptional storytelling with the help of course of its cast. The story really is unimaginable as it is based from real life, from real events. A unique movie viewing experience, credits to Zemeckis bewitching directing, Alan Silvestri’s fine scoring and the cast especially Gordon-Levitt’s enthralling performance.
