What’s supposed to be a jolly and entertaining film turns out to be bland and unromantic. No Boyfriend Since Birth already has its leads obvious chemistry but it wasn’t put to good use. The film feels hopeless in bringing the romance that it doesn’t care enough to try.
It’s puzzling why they chose this treatment, one that doesn’t please or excite the fans. Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez are obviously good in their craft but a piece that doesn’t compliment their work as a romantic couple will have a hard time to convince people it’s a romantic film.
